Today’s photo comes from the relaxed, small coastal town of Apalachicola, on the Florida Panhandle. When most people think of Florida, they think of cities like Orlando and Miami; they think of crowded beaches and beautiful women in bikinis. But Florida is much more than that. The further north you go, the more areas like this you’ll find. If you’re interested in visiting this historic little fishing town, consider booking flights to Orlando or Panama City, and then renting a car to drive up the scenic coastline to the Panhandle.

It’s such a diverse state, despite the stereotypical view people have of either bikinis or retirees. What part of Florida are you from?
