The 2024 National Cherry Blossom Festival is from March 20-April 14. The festival features events like a parade, a kite festival, and special art exhibits!

A family-favorite event, the Blossom Kite Festival takes place on the Washington Monument grounds. You can even enjoy flying kites on the National Mall!

The thousands of cherry trees planted around the Tidal Basin are the most famous. Which includes blooms framing things like the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial.

Jefferson Memorial

The trail at Tidal Basin is about 2 miles, in which you can see many memorials including the Jefferson Memorial and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial.
