At the Tidal Basin it's an easy walk to see the cherry trees planted around the Washington Monument and you can rent a pedal boat to see all the blooms from the water.
Parking is available at Hains Point. East Potomac Park also has Kwanzan cherry trees, which bloom with darker pink blossoms after the Yoshino cherry trees peak.
