Planning a trip in the near future? If so, then you’re probably overwhelmed with the amount of information out there — from guide books to travel agents to endless sites on the Internet. There’s a lot to learn, and, if you’re like me, you probably want to go into travel planning as informed as possible. Here are my tips on where to start.

How I Plan: The Itinerary

After you’ve done your research and have decided what you want to see and do in your intended destination(s), the next step is to start piecing together a loose itinerary.

  1. For me, one of the best things traveling has to offer is the surprise element.So, i do plan a little, like anyone else, but i don’t stress over it. Just going to places you’ve written on a piece of paper is boring.
    Naturally, if you go the Hawaii you’ll want to know the weather, so planning is sometimes necessary if you don’t want to spend the trip in a hotel room looking at the walls.
