Great list! I’ve been to a number of those places also – as of right now New Zealand has been my favorite country, what’s yours?

New Zealand is absolutely my favorite, too!
Is there anywhere that you’ve been you didn’t like? I noticed you’ve been to China. We may be heading there soon on our way to Russia and the Trans-Siberian (which I am so looking forward to!) but all I’ve really heard about China is that the Wall is kinda cool, but otherwise China is pretty awful. Did you have a different experience there?
My China experience was very brief — only 1 week, split between 2 cities. And I was traveling with a large group, which I’m sure definitely had an impact on my experience.
China can be a bit overwhelming (especially if you’re like me and are used to small towns), and some people wind up hating it. I didn’t hate it, and I would be willing to go back again if given the opportunity.
