Each Saturday from now on, I’ll be sharing a photo with you from my travels around the world.

This week, the photo comes from Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado.

The U.S. has some truly amazing national parks — most of which have a reputation for being so amazing. Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park is definitely one of them. Ask anybody for suggestions of places to visit in Colorado, and chances are they will tell you that you HAVE to go to Rocky Mountain NP. I got a very brief taste of this mountainous park last summer, on a day trip from Keystone with some fellow travel bloggers. This shot is one of my favorites I took that day because it includes the mountains, a valley, and some of the colorful vegetation that the park puts on display in the summer.

That’s a great photo. However, having grown up in Colorado, its sad to see how over-run RMNP is becoming these days. Thankfully, there are still other places (particularly in Southern Colorado) just as wild and beautiful. Thanks for sharing the photo!
