A year ago, I took the real dive into travel blogging and attended my very first travel blogging conference in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I didn’t learn anything life-changing or earth-shattering at that first TBEX, but I did come away feeling motivated and ready to see the world. That, and meeting a bunch of other bloggers was fun, too.

So, as soon as tickets for TBEX 2012 went on sale, I snapped one up.

This year, the annual Travel Blog Exchange conference is taking place in beautiful Keystone, Colorado, thousands of feet up in the Rocky Mountains. The conference is shaping up to be tons of fun, with great views, great food, and lots of great people to share it all with. I’ve got my new business cards and my media kit, and I’m ready to go!

If you want to find out what I’m up to during the next few days, be sure to be following on Facebook and Twitter, where I’ll be posting updates as often as possible.

I’ve been to Keystone once before (last summer, as my sister and I road tripped across America), and I can’t wait to get back there tonight. I’m also planning to spend some time in Denver, and also want to make it up to Rocky Mountain National Park before I leave the state of Colorado.

Here’s to a handful of fun-filled days! (Let’s hope I can survive this 6 a.m. flight this morning…)

If you’re going to be at TBEX, too, be sure to find me and say hello!
