Pioneer Square has to be one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seattle. Perhaps because it’s also the most historical district in the city. Or maybe because it’s just so darn cool. Either way, I love wandering around this part of town. This particular photo includes the oddly-shaped Smith Tower, which, believe it or not, at 38 storeys was the tallest building on the West Coast until 1962.
