Today’s photo was taken near the Manly ferry terminal, in a suburb of Sydney, Australia. During my quick 36 hours in Sydney, one of the things I made sure to make time for was a ferry ride out to Manly. This relaxed beach community was the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Lovely photo – I lived in Manly for 4 months years ago on my working holiday trip to Australia and used to walk past this pier every day – brings back lots of good memories!

Thanks, Lucy! Manly was such a cute area; I imagine living there must have been nice! Away from the bustle of Sydney, but still close to everything. I’m glad I could bring back some good memories for you with this photo!
Amanda,
I love Manly – there, I’m comfortable saying it! The ferry ride from Circular Quay, the Manly “boardwalk”, and the beaches are all lovely!
I’m curious – did you make the photo above in HDR? Thanks for your photo!

I really loved Manly, too! It was the perfect afternoon getaway from bustling Sydney.
And yes, this is an HDR photo! I have more of these coming up in the near future!
