Today’s photo was taken at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. This quirky spot is one of the top roadside attractions in the United States. Located along old Route 66, the draw to this site is the fact that visitors can legally vandalize the half-buried cars with spray paint.

Great Photo! Have you been there? Did you drive along route 66? Thats a trip I’ve been hoping to take for a long time.

Thanks! And yes, I’ve been there (and spraypainted the cars!) on a road trip this past summer. We didn’t drive the whole way on Route 66, but we did use parts of it. It was awesome. Coming across things like this along the way is what roadtripping is all about!
