I went on an Alaskan cruise back in June, stopping in Juneau and Skagway, Alaska, as well as Victoria, British Columbia. One of my favorite spots in Alaska ended up being the Mendenhall Glacier, just outside of Juneau. The day we visited the glacier was perfect — 70 degrees, with sun shining. It was beautiful, as I hope these photos prove!

  1. I’ve heard that if you ever take a cruise, it should be to Alaska. These photos are beautiful!

    • Thanks, Lauren! I’ve been on 3 cruises – one to the Bahamas, one to the Keys/Mexico, and one to Alaska. For pure scenery’s sake, Alaska was the best. Though, it really does depend on the sort of atmosphere you’re looking for on a cruise ship, too.
